Location
The registered office is located in Mulund – and Administrative office in Bhandup, convenient suburbs easily accessible by any mode of transport. Business correspondence and engineering are done here.
One of the manufacturing units is located in Bhandup West, close to the administrative office, in Anandraj Industrial Estate, behind Asian Paints. Equipment weighing up to 3 tonnes are manufactured from here. Complete infrastructure like power, water, fabrication, plating and tinning, brazing, impregnation and potting, machining, painting, powder coating, lifting, loading and transportation and other facilities are available here. A much larger facility for manufacture of power transformers and other heavier equipment is being constructed in the outskirts of Thane just about 30 minutes drive from the office.
Technical Capabilities
Mr. K. Srinivasan, an electrical engineering and management graduate, one of the promoters who joined the company as a director in the year 1999, looks after design and manufacturing of Chokes, Reactors, Rectifiers and all special purpose transformers and equipment. He has over 36 years experience in designing and commissioning of various wound components and equipment. He started his career with a Consulting Engineering Co. as a Design Engineer, and later worked as Senior Engineer in a renowned transformer company. Before joining this venture he had last worked for over a decade in an automation system engineering company.
Mr. K.K. Pradeepkumar, an electrical engineer and one of the founder directors, looks after design and execution of various kinds of transformers, chokes and allied systems. He has acquired over 15 years in the field of wound component engineering.
Assisted by the above, a team of young dedicated technicians complete the production set up. Every unit manufactured is tested and passed in the presence of the people who were involved in its production to have a complete closed loop control on quality and workmanship.
Production Capabilities
Two heavy winding machines which can handle up to 14 conductors at a time to a smallest one which can do honeycombing with the likes of 48swg for pulse or HT transformers are a part of the facilities- supplemented by a whole range of mandrels and holding jigs.
Necessary brazing, power solders, impregnation and baking facilities are available with us. Manufacturing of torroidal coils and Variacs up to 600A are made at our ground floor work place.
Fabrication, Machining, Electro-tinning, Paint/powder coating and buffing facilities are located around to enable a close control on time bound deliveries as well as quality.
Testing Facilities
Various tests like OC, SC, Temperature Rise, Linearity Measurements, Flash test, vector grouping, and IR values are conducted on finished products.
A high current source which can drive up to 800A SC current with multiple selection mode helps determining temperature rise on heat runs.
For general voltage and current measurements digital meters are employed.
On specific requests special QC test facilities are established.
