Though bulkier, air cored reactors are preferred for their BIV chars.., linearity, and added impedance when wound with aluminium conductors which also introduces bulky coefficients for L values. Air cored reactors have other advantage of noiseless performance and that too with high voltage systems
PPT can offer air cored reactors up to LI² values of up to 300 and up to 66kV levels
