Dual Cored Reactors
These can be classified into partial cored and double cored reactors.
Partial cored reactors which offer acute saturation characteristics find usage in aviation, certain chemical applications, cinema arc lamp projectors etc.
Dual cored reactors can offer double inductance value with single flux by introducing a ducted partial core path along with the main frame. Such wound components find use in UPS, solid state stabilizers etc.
